Ariocarpus retusus LRM321

This plant comes from Ramos Arispe, COAH in an area notable for its vast numbers of chicken farms. It is a 'furfuraceous' type plant with sharply pointed tubercles and shows very little variation within the locality.  Thelocacti rinconensis and bicolor accompany this plant together with Epithelantha bokei and Agave victoria-regina.
