Ariocarpus retusus LRM78

Populations of A. retusus around Aramberri are extremely variable.  The plants exhibit great variation in stem form and flower color.  At the location at which the photograph was taken, near Marmelejos, NL, the plants are predominantly pink flowered, but color variations, as at other sites in the area are also present.
