Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus

Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus LRM51

This flowering plant was found with others at a roadside near Hipolito, COAH.  It is of the form described as ‘variety macdowellii’ but we would suggest that it is very comparable to some of the pink flowered specimens of LRM168 at Tula described as ‘variety albiflora’!  The stones are not natural – they are from road stones dumped in tonne quantities on the habitat!
