The number of field collection number associated with Ariocarpus is large, we are endeavouring to collate as much of this information  as possible, but the list will never be complete, If you have any data not published here we would be pleased to receive it. If you have field lists but do not wish them to be made public, we would be grateful of copies for our own private archives. All the data  here is available as a downloadable zipped excel file fieldno.zip

Many of the field numbers presented here are of archival interest only, and do not represent collected material in cultivation, they are register numbers for documentation, but are invaluable in delimitating the ranges and variations in the species.
