Ariocarpus retusus subsp. trigonus LRM174

These plants occur near Palmillas, TAMPS growing in the shelter of low thorn scrub. In these more westerly populations the smallest tubercle length to width ratio is found, tubercles becoming longer and thinner in the  more easterly parts of the Jaumave Valley.
