Ariocarpus retusus subsp. trigonus LRM292

This is the most southerly and easterly population of this plant we are aware of, it occurs growing in the company of Astrophytum asterias and Thelocactus bicolor schwartzii near Fortin Agrario, TAMPS.  Plants are very typical of the subspecies and the photograph shows just how consistent A. trigonus is throughout its range.
