Ariocarpus retusus LRM86

Plants of Ariocarpus retusus at Huizache Junction display a great variation in tubercle form, ranging from typical A. retusus to A. furfuraceus, types.  However many of the plants are characterised by the very long tubercles seen in this photograph.  There is also some variation in flower colour from white to pink tinted.
